What is a ABT File Type?

Similar to the more common .BRF file extension. Both BRL and BRF files are commonly used to make digital publications available to blind people.

To create an ABT file in CASC Braille 2000 select New & &&&&&& rarr; File name, select &" Annotated Braille Text File (abt) " from the File Type drop-down menu, and click OK.

To open an ABT file in Braille 2000, select Open → File, browse to the file, and click Open.

CASC Braille 2000 replaced ED-IT PC, which also used l' extension ABT but was written in its own proprietary format.
